該平台宣布，現在用戶可以以零到低費用購買比特幣，包括大型購買、定期購買和通過閃電網絡的支出都免收費用。此外，符合條件的用戶將看到更高的提款限額，讓他們更方便地在平台內外轉移比特幣。
此外，Cash App 上每次購買的比特幣都以1:1比例持有，用戶對其持有的資產擁有完全支持，並可24/7隨時提取資金。通過這些新功能，Cash App 強化了比特幣的地位，並試圖使其在日常金融活動中更具實用性。
根據同一個 X 帖子中的公開信，Cash App 正在降低費用，提供更透明的定價，包括對超過2000美元的購買完全免收手續費和差價。符合條件的用戶將看到比特幣提款限額增加五倍。
隨著新比特幣功能獲得積極反響，Lightspark 創始人 David Marcus 表示：“這太棒了。”
此外，2月9日，Block Inc. 的股價收於56.78美元，上漲1.45%，收盤後又上漲約0.81%。
Block Inc. 為節省成本裁員
在 Bloomberg 報導 Jack Dorsey 領導的 Block Inc.，即 Cash App、Square 和 Afterpay 的母公司，計劃裁減多達10%的員工後，2月7日宣布此消息，預計裁員約1000人，主要目的是降低成本並提升效率。
