PANews 1月16日消息，据Cointelegraph报道，美国西弗吉尼亚州参议员Chris Rose周三向该州议会已提交一项法案，提议修改该州法典，允许州财政委员会将最多10%的资金投资于贵金属、特定数字资产和稳定币。
根据这项名为《通胀保护法案》的提案，州财政部可投资于贵金属、上一年度市值超过7500亿美元的数字资产（按目前标准仅比特币符合）以及已获得美国政府或州政府监管批准的稳定币。法案规定，所购数字资产可由合格托管人持有，或通过交易所交易产品及安全托管解决方案进行管理。若法案通过，西弗吉尼亚州将成为继得克萨斯、亚利桑那和新罕布什尔之后，又一个允许州级持有加密资产的地区。目前该法案已提交至银行与保险委员会审议。
