PayAI launches on the SKALE network, enabling gas-free AI transactions

PayAI Network has officially deployed its payment infrastructure on SKALE Network, marking a significant step forward in expanding AI-to-AI commerce. Moving high-speed trading tools to SKALE’s gas-free Layer-2 helps PayAI eliminate capital cost barriers that are hindering the development of the “Internet of Agents”. This launch introduces PayAI’s proprietary x402 payment protocol into the SKALE ecosystem, enabling AI agents to process millions of micro-transactions, even from $0.01, without transaction fees eroding value.

This is especially important for the agentic commerce model, where autonomous bots frequently hire specialized “sub-agents” for tasks such as data verification, real-time sentiment analysis, or image generation. Additionally, SKALE’s BITE encryption technology ensures that transaction data and logic are secured before reaching consensus, meeting enterprise-level security requirements. Following successful deployments on Solana and Base, this move further strengthens PayAI’s multi-chain strategy and elevates SKALE’s position in the Agentic Era.
