U.S. Voters Favor Federal Prediction Market Regulation Over State-by-State Rules, Polls Show

According to a poll commissioned by the Prediction Market Alliance and reported by The Block on June 25, American voters across both major parties favor federal regulation of prediction markets over fragmented state approaches. Among Republican respondents, 48% support a unified federal framework compared to 27% preferring state-level oversight. Democratic voters showed similar preference, with 45% backing federal rules versus 35% supporting state-level regulation. Only 8% of surveyed voters believe prediction markets should be banned, with most supporting consumer choice to participate. The poll also found over half of voters under 35 have used or expressed interest in prediction markets, highlighting growing adoption among younger demographics.
