Seoul Police Execute Second Search Warrant at Bithumb Over Recruitment Bribery Allegations on June 8

According to Seoul Police Agency, police executed a second search warrant at Bithumb headquarters in Seoul's Gangnam district on June 8 morning in connection with recruitment bribery allegations involving Kim Byung-ki, an independent member of the National Assembly.

Kim is suspected of requesting his son's employment at Bithumb and making multiple derogatory statements about competitor Dunamu, which operates Upbit exchange, during the process. Police previously searched Bithumb in February and questioned two executives in February and April.
