Saudi Arabia Conducts Airstrikes on Iranian-Backed Militias in Iraq Wednesday

According to Saudi state news agency, Saudi armed forces conducted airstrikes on Iranian-backed militias in Iraq on Wednesday in coordination with the U.S. Central Command. The militias are linked to previous attacks on Saudi oil facilities. Saudi Arabia stated the strikes exercise its right to self-defense and denied seeking escalation but warned it would "take all necessary measures to maintain its sovereignty, protect its citizens and national assets" if subjected to further attacks.
