Russia's Ambassador to Japan Says Russian-Japanese Relations Have Entered an 'Ice Age'

GateNews

According to Russian news agency TASS, on May 11, Russia’s Ambassador to Japan Nikolai Nozodriyov stated that Russian-Japanese relations have entered an ‘ice age’ and are experiencing an unprecedented deterioration since World War II. Nozodriyov attributed the decline to Japan’s support for sanctions against Russia and its alignment with Western anti-Russia policies, which he said have undermined bilateral cooperation.
