PDVSA Confirms Maracaibo Lake Gas Facility Explosion, Operations Continue

According to Venezuela’s state oil company PDVSA, a gas processing facility at Maracaibo Lake experienced an explosion. A technical committee will investigate the causes of the incident.

PDVSA stated that the explosion does not affect the continuity of oil and gas operations in Venezuela’s western region.
