According to Italian news agency ANSA, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani cancelled his planned visit to the United States scheduled for June 21-22 on June 19, citing inappropriate remarks by U.S. President Trump. Trump had previously stated that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni "begged for a photo" during the Group of Seven summit held earlier this year.
