Iran Threatens to Expand Retaliatory Strikes Against Middle Eastern Energy Targets

According to New York Times reporting today (June 8), Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned it would expand retaliatory strikes, claiming to have targeted Israeli industrial facilities in the coastal city of Haifa. Israel has not confirmed the claim. In a statement broadcast by Iranian state television, the IRGC said Israel's strikes "have opened a dangerous game" and warned that retaliation would encompass "all energy-related targets in the region."
