Former NY Governor Cuomo Joins OKX Board, Deepens ICE Partnership for 24/7 Tokenized Trading

According to The Block, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo joined the board of crypto exchange OKX on Monday, deepening his involvement after the platform formed a 50-50 joint venture with Intercontinental Exchange last month. The joint venture, co-chaired by Cuomo, aims to expand access to tokenized equities trading.

Cuomo appeared on Fox Business Monday to promote around-the-clock onchain stock trading, stating: "Just imagine a world where you can trade stocks 24/7 internationally. Literally trillions of dollars internationally could be invested into the U.S. economy." He highlighted tokenization's role in enabling fractional ownership and immediate digital transactions, positioning the partnership as combining traditional finance infrastructure with crypto infrastructure.
