China's Aluminum Oxide Exports Surge 96.6% in April; Rare Earth Exports Up 35.1%

China’s aluminum oxide exports reached 520,000 tons in April, up 96.6% year-over-year, with cumulative exports of 1.06 million tons for the year rising 10% from a year ago, according to China Customs data. Rare earth exports totaled 11,041 tons in April, up 35.1% year-over-year, with year-to-date exports of 44,070 tons up 10.5%.
