Bhutan Transfers 100 BTC Worth $8M, 3,400 BTC Remaining to Liquidate

According to Arkham Intelligence on-chain data, Bhutan transferred approximately 100 BTC valued at nearly $8 million on April 29, continuing its systematic Bitcoin liquidation throughout 2026. The country has already sold more than $200 million worth of Bitcoin this year.

Despite ongoing sales, Bhutan continues to hold around 3,400+ BTC, representing hundreds of millions in unrealized value. Based on the current liquidation pace, the country’s remaining holdings could be subject to further sales in the coming months.
