Asian Stocks Hit Record Highs, Nikkei Rises 3% to 65,000 on May 26

According to Guru Club, Asian stock markets surged on May 26, with Japan's Nikkei 225 index rising nearly 3% to close above 65,000 for the first time in history. Germany's DAX index also rallied 2.03%, while Taiwan's stock index gained over 3% to set a fresh record, with year-to-date gains reaching 50.69%.

Commodity markets strengthened as spot gold surged over 1.3% and silver climbed over 3.3%. In geopolitical developments, Arab media reported progress on a U.S.-Iran draft agreement, with reports suggesting Iran would open the strait within 30 days of the accord and extend a ceasefire for 60 days.
