Gate News Report: On March 23rd, according to BlockSec monitoring, the PancakeSwap BCE-USDT liquidity pool on the BSC chain was attacked a few hours ago, resulting in losses of approximately 679,000 USD. The attack was caused by a defective burn mechanism in the BCE token. The attacker deployed two malicious contracts that successfully bypassed buy and sell restrictions and triggered token burning within the pool, causing the reserve ratio in the pool to become imbalanced. Ultimately, approximately 679,000 USD of funds in the BCE-USDT pool were completely drained.

Gate News reports that on March 22, Resolv Labs issued a statement on X stating that the security incident involving unauthorized minting of USR tokens remains under investigation. Currently, the collateral asset pool remains fully sufficient with no underlying asset losses incurred, and the issue appears to be limited to USR's issuance mechanism. The team's current priorities include containing the incident, assessing potential impacts, and ensuring legitimate users are not affected. Resolv Labs stated it will continue to advance the investigation and disclose further updates as soon as possible.
