在週三於紐約舉行的比特幣投資者週會議上，Silbert——一位資深比特幣投資者——表示：
“我對比特幣作為多元化投資組合中的核心組成部分感到非常樂觀。然而，我在尋找具有強大轉型潛力的項目，預期其增長可達100倍、500倍，甚至1000倍。”
他坦言，除非美元完全崩潰，否則比特幣難以從目前的水平增長500倍。相反，他認為專注於隱私和新型基礎設施的項目，如Zcash（ZEC）或Bittensor（TAO），可能實現如此的爆炸性增長。“因此，我們將投資組合配置在這一方向，”Silbert提到，並指出利用zk-proof的區塊鏈安全應用和專注於AI的網絡。
這一聲明尤為引人注目，因為DCG的子公司Grayscale曾於2013年推出首個比特幣投資基金（Grayscale Bitcoin Trust），如今已轉型為市場上流動性最高的比特幣現貨ETF之一。
儘管對比特幣仍持積極態度，Silbert承認“匿名貨幣”故事在區塊鏈分析公司如Chainalysis或Elliptic日益發展的背景下已不再適用。他也懷疑這個最早的區塊鏈是否能真正整合安全性功能，儘管用戶明顯有“在使用數字貨幣的同時保障隱私”的需求。
隱私成為新焦點
從這個角度來看，Silbert認為，部分現有或未來流入比特幣的資金，可能會轉向專注於隱私的加密資產。
“我們的預測是，在未來幾年內，大約5%到10%的比特幣價值將轉向專注於隱私的加密貨幣，”他表示。
目前，Grayscale運營著Grayscale Zcash Trust——一個自2017年推出的公開基金，正考慮轉型為ETF。此前，該公司也曾提供Horizon網絡的ZEN代幣投資產品，現已作為一個Layer 3基礎層運作。
關於量子計算的風險——即假設量子電腦可能破解橢圓曲線加密，威脅到已公開的比特幣地址——Silbert認為這並非比特幣的迫在眉睫的危險。然而，他強調：“Zcash是一個很棒的對沖措施。”
儘管DCG多年來一直支持Zcash，Silbert表示，他越來越覺得“談論金融隱私”變得更自在，尤其是在美國證券交易委員會（SEC）主席Paul Atkins擔任要職的背景下。
