Should Alberta became independent from Canada?
I wish it was possible to have a smaller and less outreaching federal government. (Only Defence, foreign office, issuing passport, currency, court system, and maybe interprovincial projects... And that's all. Less regulations, and less taxes, )
But I doubt it's possible. My conclusion that it's not possible. And in the current political landscape, plan B, independent, is the option that makes more sense for those who value prosperity, and personal freedom.

One of the reasons the US wants to acquire Greenland is the AI race.
Greenland has rare earth minerals, needed to not be dependent on China for building advance AI datacenters.

Netanyahu has proposed to gradually reducing Israel's reliance on US military aid to zero over the next decade. (Currently $3.8B / year.)
Reasons:
- More objections from within the US, by the Left (Sanders, AOC) and some voices in Trump's MAGA base.
- Israel economy is expected to reach. a Trillion dollar. The aid is less significant.
- This will help Trump in the Midterm.
- This will allow Israel to be more independent.

The Iranian protests, where the regime kills thousands....
