Looking for a charger all morning, I suddenly remembered the LST/re-staking thing: earnings, frankly, don't just appear out of nowhere; either they use your staked security to "borrow" for other purposes (paid by others), or the project uses incentives to keep you around. The former seems more "logical," but it also means risk shifts from a single stake to a chain of protocols: contracts, oracles, liquidation, penalty rules—any link malfunction could propagate.
