Iran’s foreign minister spoke by phone with Qatar’s foreign minister to discuss the situation in the region and the U.S.-Israel military actions

Gate News message. On April 7, according to CCTV News, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on April 6. Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed spoke by phone to discuss the latest developments in the region, the consequences of the U.S. and Israel’s aggression against Iran, and Iran-Qatar bilateral relations. In the call, Araghchi said that the current situation is entirely the result of the military actions launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran, and he emphasized that, under international law, all countries have an obligation to prevent other countries from using their territory to carry out military actions against other countries. He called on regional countries to work in unison to promote peace and security. A statement issued by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows that Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed urged all parties to respect international law and emphasized that a comprehensive and durable diplomatic solution is the only choice to resolve the crisis.
