PANews February 21 News, according to Jinshi reports, U.S. President Trump stated that all national security tariffs, Section 232 tariffs, and existing Section 301 tariffs remain in effect and are fully implemented. Today, I will sign an order under Section 122, imposing an additional 10% global tariff on top of the normal tariffs we have already levied, for a period of 150 days. We will also initiate several Section 301 investigations and other inquiries to protect our country from unfair trade practices. Trump also said that the 10% tariff policy is expected to take effect “in about three days.” Additionally, when mentioning the Federal Reserve Chair candidate, Trump reiterated that interest rates should be significantly lowered.
