Analysis: Wosh will not be influenced by the White House and will maintain a certain balance on the Federal Reserve's dual mandate

Odaily Planet Daily News reports that Spartan Capital Securities Chief Market Strategist Peter Cardillo stated, “I don’t want to say that Wosh’s nomination as the new Federal Reserve Chair is entirely unexpected. He has always been considered hawkish, but recently he seems to align more with Trump’s stance, making it somewhat difficult to assess how the market will react to this nomination. We just need to observe whether he will be influenced by the White House. My guess is that he won’t be; he will scrutinize issues very cautiously and maintain a certain balance regarding inflation and the labor market. He may not be as resolute as Powell, but the difference won’t be too great.” (Jin10)
