According to BlockBeats news, on Thursday, January 30th, local time, at a meeting of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to jointly discuss regulatory coordination issues in the crypto field, Senator Amy Klobuchar warned that the CFTC’s powers should not be expanded without the establishment of a full committee. “We cannot give the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which has only one member, such broad new powers.”
