An address spent $23,000 betting on extreme volatility in the Federal Reserve interest rate decision, with a maximum profit of $5,640,000.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Lookonchain posted on the X platform stating that the market expects the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision on January 28 to remain unchanged. Against this backdrop, a newly created address spent $23,000 to bet on three extreme scenarios, including a rate hike of 25 basis points or more, a rate cut of 25 basis points, and a rate cut of 50 basis points or more. If any of these scenarios occur, the address will profit over $1.27 million, over $2.01 million, or up to $5.64 million, respectively.
