Korean Trade Envoy: Will Seek Reasonable Solution Regarding US Tariff Threats

Odaily Planet Daily reports that South Korea’s Minister of Trade, Industry, and Resources, Yoo Han-kyu, stated on Tuesday that the South Korean government is still working to understand the background of U.S. President Trump’s social media posts threatening to raise tariffs and what measures Seoul can take. Yoo Han-kyu said he plans to visit the United States soon and hold talks with his counterparts at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to find a reasonable solution between the two governments.
