Trump: The EU's huge fines on American tech companies are extremely unfair

Odaily Planet Daily reports that U.S. President Trump posted on Truth Social that the EU’s massive fines on American tech companies are extremely unfair and are discriminatory actions against American excellence in technology and taxation. According to relevant chart data, the total fines imposed by the EU on U.S. tech companies in 2024 reached 3.8 billion euros, while the total corporate income tax of all European-listed internet technology companies during the same period was only 3.2 billion euros. Currently, American tech giants such as Apple, Google, and Meta are all facing EU fines or tax reassessment orders amounting to billions of euros.
