Société Générale collaborates with Swift to test stablecoin settlement for tokenized bonds

PANews January 15 News, according to CoinDesk, the digital asset division of Société Générale, SG-FORGE, collaborated with Swift to successfully complete the issuance, delivery versus payment (DvP), interest payments, and redemption operations of tokenized bonds using its MiCA-compliant stablecoin EUR CoinVertible (EURCV). This test validated the potential for collaboration between traditional payment systems and blockchain platforms. Swift enabled cross-platform asset transaction coordination, which is expected to accelerate the digitization of capital markets. This project is part of a larger-scale digital asset experiment led by Swift, involving more than 30 global banks.
