Odaily Planet Daily reported that U.S. President Trump on Wednesday stated that although the Department of Justice is conducting a criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, he currently has no plans to dismiss him, and it is “still too early” to determine what actions he will ultimately take. When asked whether he would attempt to remove Powell from his position, Trump told Reuters, “I have no such plans at the moment.” When asked if the investigation gave him a reason to take action, Trump added, “Currently, we are adopting a wait-and-see approach with him, and we are studying the next steps.
