AB Charity Foundation has donated a total of 12 million, practicing the "LION Rock Spirit".
On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, a Level 5 fire broke out at Hong Fu Garden in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, causing significant casualties and property damage. This serious disaster has touched the hearts of the entire Hong Kong and even the global Chinese community, prompting urgent actions from all sectors to support the affected residents through donations, supplies, and volunteer services.
In this context, on November 28, 2025, the AB Charity Foundation took the lead in donating 10 million Hong Kong dollars; subsequently, on December 1, the foundation added another 2 million Hong Kong dollars in aid, bringing the total donations to 12 million Hong Kong dollars. This fund will be jointly used with the Hong Kong General Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, specifically for emergency rescue and post-disaster community reconstruction work for the fire at Hong Fu Yuan in Tai Po.
As of now, the AB Charitable Foundation has donated a total of 12 million Hong Kong dollars for assistance related to the recent fire through the Hong Kong General Association of the China Peaceful Reunification Promotion. The foundation hopes to help affected residents quickly return to normal life with the joint efforts of the Hong Kong SAR government and all sectors of society, continuing the core connotation of mutual support and unity embodied in the “Lion Rock Spirit.”
