Past this wave of lobster fever, I’ve always had a sense of dissonance and fragmentation, I always felt like something was missing, and my desire to tweet has decreased quite a bit.

This morning I realised that the source of this feeling is that everyone on the internet is starting to FOMO, everyone is starting to get involved and have fun, but few people are actually turning their knowledge into real money.
After so many years in the crypto world, I’ve become accustomed to the quick transformation from “knowledge -> earning”, where learning a new skill or knowledge can quickly be monetised into profit.
For example, DeFi, understanding the logic and gameplay ahead of others, I managed to free-ride on $YFI worth over a dozen BTC, as well as tens of thousands of $Cake and countless other types of mining.
For example, Meme, understanding Agents, Ai16z, and the wave of stockings ahead of others, my friends and I made a lot of money.
I won’t even mention BTC, but I also thought of inscriptions, Gamefi, and others — all big opportunities for ordinary people to turn their lives around.
Based on past experience, with such a big buzz around lobster, I should have seen some M-level small partners making money around me, but after asking around, only a few have actually earned money.
Despite the hype, many people have been excited for days, messing around for days, burning through a lot of tokens, but besides selling courses, they still haven’t found a reliable, scalable monetisation method (the local push circle was the first to jump on the concept and start making money).
The threshold for ordinary people to make money in the AI circle is much higher than in the crypto circle, and opportunities are also much fewer, at least for now.
