According to reports from PANews, Cambodian authorities have arrested Li Kuong, a 50-year-old Cambodian citizen of Chinese origin, following the capture of 'Prince Group' founder Chen Zhi. This event marks a significant blow against an alleged fraud network operating within the country.

Li Kuong, previously known as 'Sir,' owns the extensive 'Royal Paradise' complex located in Sihanoukville province and also operates in Mondulkiri province. He has previously served as the president of the Sihanoukville Casino Association and has diversified interests in real estate, casinos, hospitality, construction, and the timber supply chain.

Investigations have revealed that Li Kuong is suspected of exploiting casino and hotel facilities to unlawfully detain individuals involved in large-scale online fraud activities. According to charges, he maintained a central controlling position within the criminal network, coordinating fraudulent operations and managing illegal activities. This arrest represents a crucial step in the authorities' fight against organized fraud networks operating in the region.
