Video Rebirth Launches Bach Video Generator, Raises $80M to Build World Model

According to Tech in Asia, Video Rebirth, a Singapore-based AI startup, launched its first product Bach earlier this month, targeting producers, filmmakers, and game studios. The platform can generate multishot videos of up to 30 seconds in 1080p resolution in a single run. The startup has raised $80 million from AMD Ventures and Hyundai to pursue its ambition of building a world model—an AI system that simulates and predicts how the real world works. Co-founder and CEO Wei Liu, formerly at Tencent where he led the Hunyuan foundation model team, believes video generation is the path to foundational infrastructure that gaming, robotics, and autonomous vehicle companies could leverage. Video Rebirth plans to demo its world model for gaming use cases within months, with a production-ready version targeted for the end of 2026.
