According to Odaily, U.S. stock indexes closed mixed on June 17. The Dow Jones gained 0.64%, while the S&P 500 fell 0.57% and the Nasdaq declined 1.15%. The VIX fear index rose 1.3%.

AI chip stocks led the selloff. Marvell fell 9.78%, KLA dropped 7.44%, AMD declined 7.3%, Astera Labs fell 7.06%, and Micron fell 6.18%.
