GateNews
According to a Conference Board survey released Thursday, U.S. CEO confidence fell sharply in the second quarter due to supply chain and energy concerns. The CEO Confidence Index declined to 47 in Q2 from 59 in Q1, according to the survey conducted from May 4 to 18. Readings below 50 indicate more pessimistic than optimistic respondents. The survey included 141 CEOs and was released jointly by the Conference Board and The Business Council.
