According to Yonhapnews, Samsung Electronics’ labor and management will restart second-round mediation on May 18 at 10 a.m. local time. The labor union has announced plans to launch an 18-day full strike on May 21 if the mediation fails to resolve disputes over performance bonus payment standards. The previous round of marathon talks held from May 11–13 ended without agreement, marking a 5-day gap before negotiations resume.
