According to Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova on July 20, Ukraine conducted the fifth attack on Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) tankers at the sea terminal between July 17-20. Multiple vessels servicing Kazakhstani oil operations were struck by drone attacks, resulting in hull damage. No oil spills or casualties were reported. Zakharova stated the attacks deliberately target economic interests of CPC member nations including Russia, Kazakhstan, the United States, and Western European countries, aiming to destabilize global oil markets. Ukraine has not yet responded.
