Russia and Indonesia Sign Oil Import Contract for 150M Barrels by End of 2026

According to Jin10, Russia and Indonesia signed a crude oil import contract on June 25 through Indonesia's state oil and gas agency Lemigas, based on an agreement reached between President Putin and President Subianto. The contract is part of a broader procurement plan totaling 150 million barrels of Russian crude oil, to be delivered in phases by the end of 2026. Indonesia's Energy Ministry confirmed last week that the country will continue importing Russian oil despite recent de-escalation in Middle East tensions and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
