According to Decrypt, on June 26, Polymarket suffered a breach affecting approximately 15 user accounts and resulting in the loss of around $3 million in assets. A third-party vendor's compromised infrastructure allowed attackers to inject malicious code into the platform's frontend, targeting the stablecoin pUSD. The stolen funds were subsequently converted to ETH and consolidated into a single wallet address. Polymarket confirmed the issue has been resolved and pledged full reimbursement to affected users, though it did not disclose the specific vendor involved.
