According to Jin10, on May 20, an Israeli Defense Forces official warned that personnel shortages will worsen over coming months as the first batch of soldiers with contracted 30-month service terms are scheduled to be discharged in January 2027, said Shay Tayeb, head of the IDF Personnel Directorate's planning and personnel management division.
