GateNews

According to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Strait of Hormuz remains open to commercial vessels from friendly nations, though passage requires coordination with Iranian military forces. Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi on May 15, Araghchi stated that while the waterway is accessible to all vessels, hostile nations are excluded. Other countries’ ships can transit “only by coordinating with Iranian military forces,” he added.
