Iran Reaffirms Support for Allies, Says Lebanon Ceasefire Equals Importance to Iran on June 18

According to Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei, on June 18, Iran stated it will not abandon its allies under any circumstances. The spokesman emphasized that a ceasefire and end to conflict in Lebanon hold equal importance to Iran. Baghaei noted that Lebanon's name appears three times in the first clause of a memorandum of understanding, with explicit mention of respecting Lebanon's territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
