Hong Kong AI Lab Launches HKGAI-V3 Model Based on DeepSeek, Achieves >10x Token Compression on June 3

According to South China Morning Post, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Centre (HKGAI) launched HKGAI-V3 on June 3. The model, built on DeepSeek V4, improved token compression efficiency by more than 10x and is designed to run on domestic chips. HKGAI aims to commercialize the product and export Chinese AI technology overseas.
