According to MAGA Inc.'s Federal Election Commission report filed on Monday, Gemini sent $10 million in Bitcoin to the super PAC supporting President Donald Trump, with two separate contributions of over $5 million each transferred on June 19.

The donations came approximately three weeks after the CFTC filed a joint motion with Gemini in federal court to reverse a $5 million settlement from January 2025. CFTC Chair Michael Selig previously stated the agency under former President Joe Biden had "politically targeted" the Winklevoss brothers. Both sides agreed the penalty would not be returned to Gemini if the reversal is granted by the court.
