Ethereum Enters Final Testing for Glamsterdam, Largest Upgrade Since Merge

According to Ethereum core developer Parithosh Jayanthi, Ethereum entered the final testing phase for Glamsterdam on June 17, an upgrade described as the largest network fork since the Merge. Per CoinDesk, the upgrade is expected to roll out later this year and focuses on addressing scalability challenges, boosting throughput, and reducing network bottlenecks.

Glamsterdam aims to enhance Ethereum's ability to handle growing demand from decentralized finance, NFTs, gaming, and enterprise applications while maintaining security and decentralization.
