According to China Daily, Dassault Systemes expanded its industrial AI business in China earlier in 2026 by launching a 750 million yuan ($110 million) digital industrial fund and forming local partnerships to test foundation models. The company has evaluated more than 80 foundation models globally, including approximately 20 from China, focusing on AI applications in robotics, eVTOL aircraft, and smart factories. The fund aims to support physical AI and embodied intelligence for real-world industrial deployment.
