Computer Crime Suspect Pan Moujun Extradited from Vietnam in July 2025

According to the Ministry of Public Security, a suspect surnamed Pan Moujun involved in a computer information system destruction case was extradited from Vietnam and brought back to China with support from the Chinese embassy in Vietnam and cooperation from Vietnamese authorities.

In July 2025, public security authorities in Zibo, Shandong discovered that a local internet user named Yang had established and maintained multiple phishing websites, luring users to download software bundles infected with Trojan malware, illegally controlling victims' computers and stealing user information.
