According to Jin10, China’s green power certificate trading prices rose significantly in 2025, with average prices hitting 5.57 yuan per certificate, up from 2.12 yuan in 2024 and 0.72 yuan in 2023 and earlier, according to the China Green Electricity Certificate Development Report (2025) released by the National Energy Administration’s Power Business Qualification Management Center. The sharp price increases reflect stronger market demand and higher recognition of environmental value in newly issued green certificates.
