According to The Block, blockchain data infrastructure startup Cambrian announced the completion of a $6 million seed funding round today, led by Franklin Templeton and Polychain Capital, with participation from Flow Traders, Selini Capital, Paper Ventures, and Nomad Capital. Angel investors include Jason Mo, Avi Felman, and TrueNorth co-founders Alex Lee and Willy Chuang.
The funding was structured as a SAFE with warrant, and Franklin Templeton and Polychain Capital will hold board observer seats. Including this round, Cambrian has raised a total of $11.9 million, with the previous $5.9 million pre-seed round led by a16z CSX.
