Bitcoin, XRP Decline Ahead of Warsh's First FOMC; Rates Seen Unchanged

According to the CME FedWatch Tool, crypto markets are bracing for Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's first FOMC decision today (June 17), with a 99% probability that interest rates will remain unchanged. The announcement is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by Warsh's press conference 30 minutes later.

Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin fell 1.4% to $65,174, while XRP dropped 1.7% to $1.19, Ethereum declined over 2% to $1,763, and Solana fell more than 2% to $72.48. The broader crypto market weakened, with total market capitalization slipping 1% to $2.32 trillion.
