Apple Delays Camera-Equipped AirPods to September 2026

GateNews

According to Bloomberg, Apple has delayed the release of its camera-equipped AirPods to September 2026, originally targeted for the first half of 2026. The prototypes are currently in design validation testing ahead of production. The low-resolution cameras would send visual data to Siri for identifying nearby objects rather than capturing photos or videos. The delay follows setbacks to a revamped Siri, with the company now integrating Google Gemini technology into its AI features.
