Apple Confirms Partnership With Google and Nvidia for Apple Foundation Model Cloud Pro

According to Apple executives at WWDC on June 8, Apple confirmed it is partnering with Google and Nvidia to develop Apple Foundation Model Cloud Pro, which will run on Nvidia GPUs within Google's cloud infrastructure. The model is comparable to Google's Gemini frontier models and is part of Apple's Private Cloud Compute system.

Apple software SVP Craig Federighi stated that Apple uses Google's technology to help build Apple's own models and that Nvidia's "confidential compute" technology enables Apple to maintain its privacy standards on third-party cloud infrastructure. The partnership marks the first official confirmation that some Apple Intelligence features will run on Nvidia chips.
